Forest
Dunes Golf Club, centered in naturally beautiful Northern
Michigan, is a 1,200-acre golf community recognized for
environmental awareness--it is one of just 16 Audubon International
Signature Gold Sanctuaries world-wide. Its Tom Weiskopf
Signature, 7,104-yard golf course is ringed by Huron National
Forest and wends through dunes and towering pine trees.

The clubhouse enjoys an expansive view of the course and

About the Area
Forest Dunes lies near the quaint Northern Michigan village of
Roscommon. Not as far north in the state as the relatively major
hubs of Traverse City, Petoskey and Gaylord, Roscommon is less
than a 3 hour drive from Detroit and southeast Michigan and
about 6 hours from Chicago.
It’s a peaceful, serene are of the state.
Nearby Higgins Lake has been recognized by National Geographic
magazine as the sixth most beautiful lake in the world. Natural
beauty has made this part of the Wolverine State a classic
summer escape and winter wonderland.
Some 400,000 surrounding acres of the Huron National Forest
supply recreational trails and world-class trout fishing on the
AuSable and Manistee rivers make a fitting companion to the Pure
Golf Experience that is Forest Dunes. For
bird-watchers, the town is a gateway to Kirtland’s Warbler
country, just to the north. This area of the northern lower
